 These are big happy leaves but the plants are looking very yellow... not a good sign. I think I am going to give them some fertilizer this weekend to see if that helps them any.

 Last minute, before work, makeshift, stay the hell away from my corn bird control!! Damn birds are eating/shredding my newbie corn! I am so excited about these tiny little plants. This is the very first time I have attempted to grow pumpkins and some sunflowers. The one on the left is a sunflower and the one on the right is a pumpkin. I started some in the ground and one in a pot. I think the one in the pot will have to be moved at some point. This is a lot of fun and I am enjoying watching the progress of growth everyday.
 These guys were an unexpected surprise. I really hope they continue to grow.
